Disney and Pixar have just dropped a trailer for their newest original animation production, Elemental and it looks like a treat. It’s Pixar’s return to original and unique storytelling instead of the sequel cash grabs that we’ve seen from them recently. In this video, we break down the trailer and story of the first original film in years.
The story is a multi-layered approach to tackling the ability of nature to find a balance, and our ability as humans to coexist with that balance and embrace our own differences that can complement each other. We all have unique abilities and it’s a shame that we still live in a world where people can’t see that.
This looks like another homerun from one of the most unique studios in the world, Pixar. I’m glad we are getting more than just another sequel.
