TennoCon 2026 has concluded, and it left Warframe and Soulframe fans buzzing with excitement. Digital Extremes, the creative powerhouse behind these titles, delivered a weekend filled with fantastic announcements and thrilling updates that are sure to keep the communities engaged for months to come.
Warframe fans were treated to a slew of tantalizing reveals. One of the standout highlights was the new Mesa Heirloom Collection. This collection sees Mesa, the iconic outcast vagabond, sporting a stylish, customizable poncho, providing players with a fashionable way to make their Warframes unique.
Perhaps one of the biggest surprises was the Warframe x Fortnite collaboration. Thanks to a partnership with Epic Games, Warframe is making a leap through a rift in the Void to join Fortnite. Players who make qualifying purchases of Warframe items on the Epic Games Store will receive an Excalibur skin in Fortnite. Additionally, the newly-debuted in-game boyband On-lyne will have their track “Party Of Your Lifetime” available for purchase through Fortnite’s in-game store.
August promises another exciting chapter in the Warframe saga with Amir’s Shockwave event. This Nightwave remix, hosted by the remarkable Protoframe Amir (Volt), invites players to explore a 1999-themed adventure with The Hex crew. Expect formidable foes, enticing rewards, and the latest single from On-lyne, “RUNNING LATE.”
Looking ahead to the fall, the Iceblade of Narin update will introduce the ice-themed Warframe, along with a Banshee Warframe rework and deluxe skins for Qorvex. This update features Citrine Prime and celebrates the elegance of the Orokin Empire. Fans can expect more details during the September Devstream, hosted live from Seoul, South Korea.
The TennoVIP World Tour 2026 marks the development team’s return to global in-person events, bringing fans together in South Korea, China, London, and Glasgow. In addition, TennoCon 2027 will once again light up London, Ontario, offering fans an opportunity to gather for the renowned community event.
Meanwhile, Soulframe, Digital Extremes’ next ambitious project, dazzled attendees with a captivating gameplay showcase. The demo illuminated the game’s approach to fantasy action RPG adventures, featuring a new Warsongs Fable with a unique corrupted player progression path. New gameplay elements, including a fishing mini-game and a highly anticipated mount system, were also unveiled. Fans were also delighted to witness the talents of Ben Starr and Jennifer English through new performance elements.
