As fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe eagerly await the premiere of VisionQuest, Marvel has thrilled us by making the first three episodes of WandaVision available for free streaming on YouTube. With VisionQuest arriving soon on October 14, now is the perfect time to revisit WandaVision, the pioneering TV show that heralded the Disney Plus era of the MCU.
WandaVision picks up in the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame, where Wanda Maximoff crafts a utopian existence through magical means as a way to cope with Vision’s loss at Thanos’ hands. Throughout the series, we witness Wanda’s emotional journey and her ultimate decision to let go of her magically conjured Vision. At the same time, S.W.O.R.D. develops a fully rebuilt, all-white version of Vision. This version of Vision is set to embark on a new chapter in VisionQuest, intriguingly inviting Ultron—voiced by James Spader—to join him. This dynamic sets the stage for an exciting narrative that unfolds in unexpected ways.
The casting for VisionQuest is impressive, featuring Orla Brady as FRIDAY, Emily Hampshire as EDITH, and James D’Arcy reprising his role as JARVIS. Ruaridh Mollica takes on the role of Tommy Maximoff, Wanda’s son, first introduced in the spin-off series Agatha All Along. A standout moment from the trailer is Ultron’s intriguing comment to Tommy, “You really are a son of a witch,” teasing a storyline full of potential twists.
Fans can also look forward to exciting VisionQuest news coming out of New York City Comic Con. Given Marvel’s knack for surprises, it’s likely we will see intriguing cameos and plot revelations to further hype the series.
As you gear up for the release of VisionQuest, immerse yourself in the nostalgia and magic of WandaVision through the episodes now streaming on YouTube.
