In a brief teaser video on YouTube, the studio confirmed the expansion is titled The Tarnished Mirror and assured fans that more information will be revealed on November 2nd. The teaser exuded a playful “aw, shucks” vibe, showcasing a compilation of posts discussing the leaked information, including an article by PC Gamer. It concluded with key art of Garrett created by artist Alexandru “Dominus” Negoita, along with a logo for Thief: The Dark Project Remastered – The Tarnished Mirror, punctuated by Garrett’s voice saying, “Huh, not so secret anymore.” This snippet of audio is a likely excerpt from the original games, voiced by the iconic Stephen Russell.
The initial chaos broke out when achievement-tracking website Exophase inadvertently showcased a collection of achievements for unannounced games, quickly drawing attention to major titles like Persona 6. However, my focus immediately shifted to the unveiling of Thief Remastered achievements hinting at The Tarnished Mirror expansion.
