Today at San Diego Comic-Con, excitement buzzed through Hall H as a new trailer for the highly anticipated series “Lanterns” premiered, set to grace our screens this August. The fans were treated to thrilling sneak peeks and unexpected appearances, further amplifying the anticipation surrounding the HBO production.
The plot of “Lanterns” takes an unexpected twist from what fans might expect, grounding itself in the quaint setting of a Nebraska small town. Within this seemingly ordinary locale, we follow the journey of recruit John Stewart, portrayed by Aaron Pierre, and his mentor, the legendary Hal Jordan, played by Kyle Chandler. This duo takes on the task of solving a local murder while simultaneously grappling with the grander responsibilities of their roles as intergalactic peacekeepers.
