Publisher CRITICAL REFLEX and developer Wrong Organ are set to thrill horror enthusiasts with the upcoming release of their bone-chilling game, Mouthwashing, arriving on multiple platforms on October 29. Fans of spine-tingling storytelling can look forward to immersing themselves in this atmospheric horror experience on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via the Microsoft Store. For those who appreciate having a physical copy, the game will also be available for the PlayStation 5 and Switch through Fangamer.

Originally launched for PC via Steam on September 26, 2024, Mouthwashing has been both terrifying and captivating players. Now, console players will finally have the chance to experience what PC gamers have been raving about.

Delve into the grim storyline that unfolds on a doomed space freighter, shipwrecked and isolated in the vastness of space. Players will navigate through the harrowing tale of Captain Curly and his ill-fated crew, who find themselves on the brink of doom. Struggling with starvation and isolation, the surviving crew members must confront their captain, who has become a tortured shell of a man.

The game promises a descent into madness, where players will confront their fears as hopes for rescue dwindle. With an immersive narrative and chilling psychological scares, Mouthwashing is designed to keep players on the edge of their seats. The storytelling is interwoven with deeply unsettling imagery and sounds, promising a horror experience that is both immersive and unforgettable.

Players will be drawn into an unforgiving world where the only certainty is that survival is temporary, and hope of a rescue is nonexistent. This is a narrative where hoping to die quickly may be more merciful than the creeping dread that lingers in the ship’s claustrophobic corridors.

With a fresh trailer out showcasing the game’s eerie atmosphere and promising hair-raising moments, players have every reason to anticipate this release. Mouthwashing is set to stand out as a unique entry in the horror genre, pushing boundaries and testing nerves.
